Classic Mini Fuel Pump AZX1818
Mechanical Fuel Pump
Driven by the camshaft at the rear of the engine. As a rule, fuel pumps are pretty reliable but should the diaphragm go wrong then raw petrol can go into the engine and break down the oil.
Important Note: When fitting the pump, ensure the pump lever is sitting on the cam lobe and not to the side.
Vehicle/s: Fits pre 1990 Mini and all 998 units (1275 units use a different pump)
