Classic Mini Water Heater Valve ADU9102
Classic Mini water / heater valve - Allows cabin heat from hot / cold.
This is the angled version of the heater valve as fitted to most later Classic Minis. The angled unit allows fitment to all Minis.
There is / was a straight version but this will not have sufficient clearance for all Classic Minis (88G601). It could foul the bonnet internally dependant on your Classic Mini.
The later Mini heater valve was manufactured by Ranco but the tooling to make the part was lost. We suppose with the demise of The Rover Group.
This is a copy and is supplied with a new gasket. The body of the unit encapsulates the valve to ensure the valve does not literally disintegrate.
The early water valves from 1959 to approx 1963 were brass with a tap (12A479). These are no longer manufactured.
